About the North Seattle pantry

Since 2021, North Seattle College and UDFB have partnered to provide a weekly pop-up food pantry on campus. The pantry is open to all, serving both students and community members from surrounding neighborhoods.

What we offer

  • Fresh fruits

  • Fresh vegetables

  • Dairy

  • Eggs or frozen meat

  • Shelf-stable goods

  • Bread

  • Ready-to-eat meals*

  • Pet food*

  • Toiletries*

  • Baby food & diapers*

*These items are available infrequently, but are something we are working towards providing more reguarly.

UDFB purchases more than half of the food offered at the food bank to provide certain core items consistently; the rest is donated or rescued from grocery stores. We stock our shelves continually throughout the day, but availability of many items varies due to the inconsistent nature of donations.

Location

We are located at 9600 College Way N, at the southeast end of campus. We are inside the parking garage, below the Opportunity Center.

Enter through the southwest campus entrance at College Way and N. 95th street. Follow the blue and yellow signs around to the parking garage located under the opportunity center.

Parking is available in the outdoor lot immediately outside the Food Pantry.
