Open Wednesdays 11am - 2pm

About Magnuson Park Satellite Pantry

Magnuson Park Community Food Pantry was founded in collaboration with Solid Ground, University Family YMCA, and Mercy Housing Northwest as a response to the volume of folks housed within a food desert. Magnuson Park is an area of concern for hunger due to the lack of surrounding affordable grocery stores combined with limited public transportation options.

The pantry serves residents of Mercy, Santos and Solid Ground housing as well as the surrounding community.

What we offer

  • Fresh fruits

  • Fresh vegetables

  • Dairy

  • Eggs or frozen meat

  • Shelf-stable goods

  • Bread

  • Ready-to-eat meals*

  • Pet food*

  • Toiletries*

  • Baby food & diapers*

*These items are available infrequently, but something we are working towards providing more reguarly.

UDFB purchases over half of the food offered at the food bank to provide certain core items consistently; the rest is donated or rescued from grocery stores. We stock our shelves continually throughout the day, but availability of many items varies due to the inconsistent nature of donations.
