Resources at UDFB
Mail Program
We offer a mail collection service for individuals needing a mailing address at no cost. We provide mail service for over 150 food bank customers. Connect with our team to get established.
Identification and License Vouchers
We provide identification and license vouchers to cover the cost of replacements, renewals, and first-time applications for the Washington State Department of Licensing. Connect with our team to learn more about what we can help cover.
ORCA Pilot Program
We can provide eligible public transportation users with rides on King County Metro and Sound Transit. We can provide ORCA Lift and Senior Pass holders with rides every month during this pilot program. At this time, we are only loading funds to cards during our outreach days. Our team can set up a meeting to apply for ORCA Lift or Senior Pass cards. Due to its pilot phase, requirements may change on a monthly basis.
Community Food Resources
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP – Basic Food)
We can start the application process to join the program if eligible. This program helps people with low incomes by providing monthly benefits to buy food.
Fresh Bucks
We can help with the waitlist application to help people living in Seattle with monthly benefits to buy vegetables and fruits from local participating farmers markets, independent grocers, and supermarkets.
Spring Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
We can help eligible participants apply for this program which provides benefits to low-income older adults to purchase fruits and vegetables from participating partners. Application is available in the Spring.
Seattle Utility Discount Program
The City of Seattle can help people who are struggling to pay their utility bills. Eligible households can enroll in the City of Seattle’s Utility Discount Program (UDP) which offers discounted rates on Seattle City Light and Public Utilities bills.

Community Utility Resources
Emergency Bill Assistance
If you have an overdue electricity bill, we can help you apply to the Emergency Bill Assistance Program from the City of Seattle to reduce balances. Our team can help determine eligibility and guide you through the application process.
Project Share
The Project Share Assistance Program is funded by Seattle City Light customer donations. Project Share provides $250 bill credit to eligible households. Our team can help determine eligibility and guide you through the application process.
