Make an Impact

Your support helps us provide three days of nourishing food to the 2,600 families who visit us each week.

Through our partners at Greater Giving, you can make a secure online donation using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express.

You may choose to support a specific program or make an unrestricted gift to help meet our greatest needs. Recurring donations can also be set up for ongoing support.

A printable receipt will be provided at the end of the donation process.

We respect your privacy and will never share or sell your personal or donation information.

Other ways to donate

Make a donation over the phone

While we don’t have a formal pledge drive and operators are not always standing by, you can still call Paul, our Development Director, at 206-523-7060. He can take your credit card information and process your donation.

Donate from your IRA

Use your IRA to support neighbors in need through a Qualified Charitable Distribution, a tax-efficient giving option available to many donors age 70½ and older.

Donate stocks and funds

Support our community with a gift of appreciated stocks or securities, helping ensure neighbors have access to the food and resources they need while providing tax benefits to you.

Include University District Food Bank in your will

Leave a lasting legacy by including the University District Food Bank in your estate plans and helping ensure future generations have access to food and support.

Donate from your Donor-Advised fund

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to support the University District Food Bank. DAF grants help provide nutritious food and vital resources to neighbors across Northeast Seattle. Making a DAF gift is easy—simply contact your sponsoring organization and recommend a grant to the University District Food Bank.

Request matching from your employer

Your gift may go even further through a corporate matching program. Many employers will match charitable donations made by employees. Reach out to your HR department to learn more and submit your donation receipt to multiply your impact.

We encourage you to consult your financial, tax, or legal advisor when considering these giving options.
