Waitlist and Appointments
We have a few different options to get you in the door! You may show up in person and a staff member will help you get into our waitlist. You may also schedule an appointment up to two weeks ahead of time, or get in the waitlist online.
You may visit once per week if you have a refrigerator and cooking facilities, otherwise you may visit once per day. If what you receive from us does not meet your needs please see below for more food resources in Seattle. If you have any other questions or concerns a staff member will be available at the entrance to the food bank and will be happy to help.

How will this affect shopping at the food bank?
We anticipate increased demand and increased wait times. We will do our best to maintain the same shopping experience as usual by streamlining operations in a few ways:
- Ready Boxes All Day
We will distribute basic food boxes as an alternative to shopping for the week. At any point you may opt for this to bypass the waitlist and get food right away. This will both give an option to those who do not want to wait, and reduce wait times for those who would like to shop as usual. - Shorter Shopping Times
We will limit shopping times to 15 – 20 minutes and more frequently check that folks are respecting these limits. - Streamlined Stocking and Customer Flow
We will be revamping our volunteer operations to increase check-in, check-out and stocking.
